Mirrors Mirrors for Our Sound Wall
Funded Nov 29, 2022Thank you so much for contributing to my classroom project! The students were excited to see and use the mirrors. They each have their own, so they can look at their mouth when making a sound. This makes the sound tangible and then transfers to reading when the child comes across a word that has that sound. Being able to bring the science of reading into our classrooms by using these mirrors will continue to impact our students' ability to learn to read and write. We know being able to read well will positively change the trajectory of the lives of all our children.
Thank you for helping us teach our students to read!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Panda Cares.Stability Balls for Stupendous Students
Funded Jun 21, 2020Thank you very much for investing in my students. We are using the stability balls everyday, all day! The students get to choose if they want a ball for the day, and can get one at any time of the day.
When the boxes first arrived the students were very excited! They even helped me pump up the balls and get them all ready. The stability balls are a great material, and are very strong.
It is very important that I do what I can to keep the children healthy, especially this year. Because of this, the students are not able to move around as much as I would like. Having the stability ball for each student has allowed them to safely move, bounce, wiggle, and get out some energy. They love having their own!
In addition, the stability balls are great for posture, strengthening the core, and helping little ones focus. This leads to increased learning and improved behavior....not to mention so much fun!
Your generosity blew me away. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Williams
