My drafting classroom that I now teach in is the very same classroom I took drafting in over 30 years ago. The equipment was in desperate need of upgrading & with the help of donor's choose, I was able to replace 12 professional drafting tables to instruct my students & teach them the fundamentals of the skill. The room is located on the front NE corner of a 50 year old building. The room is painted concrete block walls with tower desktop work stations for 3D and 2D card instruction. 3D printers & the 11x17 printer are at the back of the room on the same wall as my office. The tables take up a large portion of the roughly 30x40 room. Many retrofits have been made to accommodate the upgrades and hopefully this year the room will be organized & up to date as we look to train the next generation of designers & engineers.
