These books will help my students with developing a greater interest in reading and will teach them the importance of learning about their history. Through reading these books, they will learn to have a voice. This will create and promote kindness, inclusion, support and respect for one another. These books will be read aloud and be used as discussion starters, they will be used to create discussions among students of other classrooms, and will be available for students during independent reading choice time. I love to empower students through the use of choice and books that are applicable to them. Thank you for helping them feel important!

About my class
