Students will be able to have choice in where they sit while learning. This also lends itself to have students take responsibility for their own learning. Students learn to speak up and advocate for themselves as they find what works best for them and are able to explain why. Each item provides a different way to sit wether on the floor with a cushion or lap desk, on a wobble or ball stool at their desk, a stool at their desk or at the table, or even using a fidget band on their own desk or chair to bounce their legs and play with it using their feet. This allows for students to move as needed while learning with out disrupting others. Students get to be more comfortable in their learning environment which helps promote learning in general. If students are uncomfortable, they get wiggly and it tends to lead to a disruption of the class in some kind. Through flexible seating, students get to have that freedom to find what works for them and where they feel most comfortable learning, which then in turn helps reduce classroom disruptions.
