At this time my first grade students are in school with masks on, 6 feet between them and polycarbonate barriers separating each desk 5 days a week. Each student has his/ her own chrome book which can be used during in school learning or remote/ home education. I have learned many online learning opportunities to use with my students during this "unusual" teaching time. One of the best resources that I have learned to use and teach with is the app Seesaw. Seesaw is not only a digital portfolio for students work, but also a place for parent communication. Another great tool is FLIPGRID which lets the students record their answers with words and actions. The educational platform that is used in our school is Google classroom. I have taken numerous PD courses and virtual in services to learn this management system and to be able to use it productively and efficiently with my students.
