  • Keeping Third Grade Fun

    Funded Jun 28, 2021

Thank you so much for your generosity! I am thrilled to be headed into a new school year with all of these awesome supplies for my new class of students. I can't wait for them to be able to get their hands on our interactive math games and see how awesome our class is going to be.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sonido

  • Seat Sacks

    Funded Feb 21, 2021

The students were absolutely thrilled when the big heavy boxes arrived containing our seat sacks!! We had so much fun unpacking them and putting them on the backs of our chairs. Having these seat sacks has made our classroom much more organized as all the materials we need for class are stored securely behind our chairs. It was such a nice upgrade from the old pillow cases that we were using before. The pillow cases started to become a tripping hazard so we are truly grateful to have not only a cleaner classroom but also a safer one!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sonido

  • Virtual Tools for Third Grade

    Funded Nov 1, 2020

Thank you so much for your kind and generous donation. Having this digital materials has allowed my students to be able to access content and curriculum that would not have otherwise been possible. Students were able to be engaged in what they were doing and seemed excited about learning even challenging topics! It has been difficult teaching virtually but these supplies and resources has made it a bit easier on us all. We cannot thank you at all for choosing our classroom to support. Our students are truly grateful.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sonido

  • Digital Resources and Mentor Texts!

    Funded Aug 30, 2020

Thank you thank you thank you! We have absolutely loved being able to reinforce what we learn through the digital resources our teacher has purchased for us with the teacher pay teacher gift card! We are able to play super cool games, get immediate feedback about our work and work collaboratively on our digital pages. We are also psyched to have the mentor texts in our classroom. Mrs. Sonido has already read them all to us and we will continue to reference them as we learn about different topics both in reading and writing. Thanks again!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sonido

  • Math Tools

    Funded Jul 22, 2020

Thank you so much for helping to beautify our classroom and give us these awesome posters to reference throughout the day. We can't wait to start using our math tools like the super cool dice as soon as we come back to school in person. We know that we are going to be motivated to challenge ourselves, persevere and tackle difficult problems with the awesome growth mindset posters on our walls. We would not have been able to have this awesome and amazing classroom without you so thank you from the bottoms of our hearts!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sonido

  • Help Me Help My Students

    Funded May 29, 2020

Thank you so very much for your generosity and helping to bring these awesome materials into my classrooms for my students to use. Although I am teaching virtually, the donated items have been a huge help to me and I know the students will love using them when ever they return and we are together in person. Having a printer has been an amazing experience, as I am able to quickly print off cue cards or reminders to show my students how to do problems or mark up a text. The organizing shelf is able to very nicely organize and hold all of their textbooks, white boards, markers and papers that they will use when we return to in person learning. Though my own students have not been able to take part in our comfy chair, I coach girls on the run after school and it is a special treat for them to sit in it. I can't wait to share all of these things with my kids and am so grateful I can do so because of you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sonido

If I had the money in my pocket to pay for these things for my students myself I would in a heartbeat. I hate asking for help but if it's for my students I'll do just about anything. I am asking for a printer to keep in my classroom as at my school we are very limited as to the copies we can make and none of it is in color. A printer would be a game changer, being able to print material for my students on demand and also provide colorful diagrams to demonstrate concepts! As I am moving to a classroom with no storage besides a small coat closet, I am asking for a storage rack in order to give my students a dedicated space to keep their materials. I am also asking for a cozy chair for our reading nook. The one I used this year was mine from when I was a child myself, it is thus very old and broken in places to the point where it is no longer safe for children. I am hoping to replace it with a new one as my students this year loved it. Lastly, I am asking for a high quality electric pencil sharpener, so my students are able to keep their pencils sharp so they can keep learning!
