Surprise, Surprise!
Funded Aug 9, 2021Thank you for your generous donations. My students are so excited to have their surprise gifts. They were thrilled to hear that they are getting rewarded for all their hard work which they have done last year and this year. I would want them to continue working hard and remain studious all year long and in the future. They have improved so much since September that I would like for them to feel the accomplishment that goes along with how proud I feel about them. They have a huge smile on their face to receive the gifts and they promised to do their best in future. This encourage them to work harder in every subject. They also use the supplies of construction paper, card stock papers to create their classroom projects in Science and Social Studies Thank you once again for your Thoughtfulness.”

Funded Sep 16, 2020Thank you very much for your generous donation. The Apple iPad and Apple pencil will help my students to utilize technology through reading, math, and educational games in this pandemic situation. The iPad will give my students more access to a variety of learning programs that the school has invested in, earned through grants or are free to everyone. We currently use RAZ KIDS for reading reinforcement, MyOn as a reading library resource, IXL for mathematics, as well as use the online access to our current reading program Wit and Wisdom.
My students are very excited to see the iPad and Apple pencil. The Apple pencil will allow them to write a reading response, solve math problems by showing their works. The Apple pencil will also help me to teach a subject topic virtually by writing and drawing charts or graphs. In addition, we will use the word processing program on iPad to create written responses for many purposes and audiences. Thank you for your continuous support!”

Digitally Remote Learning!
Funded Aug 13, 2020Thank you very much for your generous donations of Osmo Genius Gaming system and air purifier. These new resources will help my English as second language learners to work on letter recognition, reading fluency, and phonics - introducing word components such as consonant blends. These will help them to become proficient in English and enable students to practice vocabulary.
The Osmo Gaming system will help my students to grow their confidence in math and spelling, as well as visual thinking, problem solving, creative drawing, and more. These activities will help students connect their learning to the real world.
During this pandemic time, air quality and ventilation are very important for students at school. The air purifier can help reduce airborne contaminants including viruses in confined space as their classroom.”
