When students have access to flexible seating, they are better able to create their own learning space, explore activities comfortably, and engage their bodies and minds in learning tasks. It also allows them to take a break from the standard seat and desk when they are reading, playing educational games, or working with partners for group work. These cushions will help students use more areas of the classroom. Students at their desks can more easily focus on paper/pencil tasks in front of them, with less distraction. Flexible seating opens opportunities for all learners!
