Distance learning is so totally different from regular school. I'm aware that the amount of screen time will have an impact on my students long-term. That's why I would like to supply them with some non-screen activities and resources that they can use to support with learning new concepts while fostering creativity. I have picked out a few things I think my students would benefit from both academically and creatively. You may have noticed that many of my materials are centered around math and that's because math has been the passion of this group since I met them in September! We'll be learning how to tell time, count money and the differences between 2-D and 3-D shapes. I believe the pattern block set will allow students to learn their shapes, as well as create unique designs. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see what they create!
