  • Take a Seat

    Thank you so much for enriching our classroom environment. Your donation is helping our students feel more comfortable in our classroom espically during small group and partnerships. Our classroom is an ICT classroom where our students have sensory issues. This alternative seating will provide students with an opportunity to move just enough to provide sensory modulation.

    The students in our classroom were so excited to see these new seating options. The stools allow the students to work with more students at a table or with eachother in the meeting area. The seating with backs allow the studnets when working in partnerships to be more comfortable while sharing their ideas.

  • Materials That Matter

    We just wanted to take time to truly thank you for the materials you donated to our classroom. The students were so excited to see what was sent. We set the materials up in front of the classroom so when the students arrived, they could see everything that was sent!

    A cool marker and a post it can go a long way in a classroom to have students engaged in the lesson. Each student now has their own dry erase board to build arrays and model their mathematical thinking. They would not be able to do this with the support we received from you!

    During the upcoming months we are going to be doing project-based learning where the students will use the post it chart paper to show how they solve mathematical problems and the steps they need to take and teach each other. The materials you sent are essential to this type of collaborative work.”

  • Classroom Books

    Many of my students returned to school in September from being away for a year and a half. They are in 4th grade and the last time many of them held a book was in 2nd grade!!!

    The joy of watching them book shop and get so excited many saying "Oh my goodness these are brand new" was an amazing moment as a teacher.

    The joy you brought to these children as they returned to the classroom could not even be put into words. As you can see from the pictures that is the before and after of your donation to our classroom library.

My students come from low-income households and rely on us to make sure they have books at their fingertips. My students need books. I want to ensure they have books that interest them and inspire them. Please help build my classroom library. I have asked for books of different genres and reading leavers to ensure all children in my class will learn to love reading!
