I hope to create a multi-cultural library space where my students can read books with characters, and written by authors that look like them. The students would benefit from these resources by being able to strengthen their reading skills and comprehension, through texts that represent people of different cultures, backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, lifestyles and places of residences from around the world. My goal is to teach every student that they belong and can succeed at anything they put their mind to through texts.
