Speaking of Remote Speech

The materials obtained through the TeachersPayTeachers website helped my colleagues and I provide more robust remote therapy sessions. We have a new theme each month with supplemental activities and the gift card to TPTs allowed us to choose materials to support these lessons. Posted along with photos of students engaging with some of the materials posted are 2 products that were purchased for student use.

We are able to print the purchased materials, laminate them, and use them with the students when attending in person. We can also make copies for the students to use at home during remote learning to help the parents engage in the activity along with us and their child.

Our students love the materials we purchased and show greater enthusiasm when they are able to interact with the materials through moving pieces, made possible with lamination and velcro.

Our next steps as a speech department is to create a library of all materials based on curriculum, themes, holidays, etc. We hope to share these materials on a more regular basis when schools reopen to full in-person learning.”
