These materials will help my students stay engaged even through remote learning. I am trying to use models myself to show students through our Google Meets. This will be exciting and something different for them. They deserve these experiences as a change of pace and something to look forward to! STEM experiences such as a rocket kit to go along with our space unit, a compost container, butterfly life cycle kit (the students love the pictures I have posted about it so far), and a giant magnetic solar system will help my science classes and give us a strong finish to quite a crazy year! We usually try to keep everything hands-on in the classroom, and I've been thinking of ways to keep that going while they're at home.
