Effective Tools and Resources
Funded Dec 2, 2020Thank you so much for your donations and support for my students and I during this time. We are so grateful for all of the materials we were able to receive due to your generosity. Each student was able to have their own headphones which have helped tremendously in both the home and school environment. My students keep talking about how they are so comfy and how they really help them focus while working. These headphones have also helped cancel out noises when we work with students both in the classrooms and at home concurrently.
Timers! My students love trying to beat their scores using the timers during fluency practice. They are able to hold themselves accountable while racing the clock making reading fun. They also use it to set a time for their breaks as needed. This fosters accountability as well as time management.
The c-pens. I cannot even express how life-changing these tools have been. My students who are reading well below grade level are gaining confidence while reading grade leveled assignments independently with the use of the c pens. This tool is very user-friendly and comes with headphones for privacy. I definitely plan on investing further with this amazing tool. We have just started using it now that the students are back in the classroom, so I am excited to see the lasting effects as we continue to explore this resource.
I love the Microsoft pen. It has supported me with providing clear concise notes during instuction. My students are able to use my visuals as models to support their learning. It has also been a great time saver. I spend less time worrying about drawing my notes by hand and more time providing valuable information in a neat and organized way.
I write this thank you to everyone who chose to donate resources to my school family and I. We greatly appreciate your generosity as I know you have many awesome projects to choose from. You all have truly made a difference with your donations and I am so excited to continue to utilize these materials for years to come.”
With gratitude,
