ForbesBook Author, Brandon Vallorani wrote in 2018 on Forbes.com that "a recent study shows that people who dress better have more confidence, feel more powerful, and are more focused on details." Similar to a school uniform, I believe lab coats in the science classroom could eliminate the distraction of inequality while providing students with more confidence and the ability to focus on learning. I want my students to be confident and focused in my science classroom. I truly believe these lab coats could make a difference in my students' attitudes and abilities in science.
