  • Books for You and Me!

    My students and I really enjoyed the books donated to our classroom. My students read every book at least 12 times eat. I was able to create fun and engaging lessons that focused on different cultures and the importance of being kind.

    As an educator I realize sometimes my students do not select certain books because they cannot relate to them. Many of my students commented on the fact that these books included people like them with the same cultures and interests. Thank you so much for giving my students the gift of reading books that relate to their individual cultures and for opening my classroom

Having laptops would continue to enhance their learning by helping them acquire new skills such as typing and researching as well as making distant learning education more engaging and fun. Laptops would also allow my students to be able to have access to the programs we were using in our classroom such as imagine reading, reading A-Z, MayOn and K-12 summit, making it easier to track their data. This will allow them to collaborate with other classmates on projects to help them prepare for the real world; benefiting not just my current students but my future students as well.

About my class
