We have centered the school year around the text "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by J.K Rowling. Not only have we create a magical family but we have used the text to develop various literacy skills including vocabulary and comprehension. Students worked hard on lap books and various activities to foster these literacy skills. With the year coming to a close soon, I wanted to provide my students with the first Harry Potter text so they can continue their love of Harry Potter at home as well as continue developing their literacy skills. I have also included workbooks in my project . These workbooks will provide students with extra practice in both ELA and Math. Various activities, games and work pages are included in the workbooks that will allow students to continue practice over the summer before entering fourth grade!
