Please help me give my students learning materials for home and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My students need a variety of sensory play and hands-on mediums to help keep them engaged while expanding their speech and language skills. My students need speech and language activities to complete during the remainder of the school year through distant learning as well as through the summer months. My students need activities that are geared for their ages that we will create and send to them. All of my students have individual education plans and some have sensory needs. Some of my students need flexible seating to stay focused for small anoints if time. The Soft Seats will help increase attention in these children. The ink and paper is for me to print materials, laminate and create packets for each child with specific speech sounds practice so they do not regress over the summer. Sequencing is a difficult concept for many of my students. Having hands on practice with pictures helps put stories together to increase thoughts and comprehension. The magnetic drawing board and magnetic sand are fun to draw with and Playdoh to model letters of the alphabet. During video therapy, we try to have the child color and create crafts. The triangle crayons are for students with poor fine motor and pencil grasp. These will help the child correctly hold a crayon with a tripod grasp. These materials will help with hands-on play while practicing speech sounds and language skills during video therapy!
