Room dividers provide visual boundaries for students to stay in areas without assistance from adults. This is especially beneficial during center times when students are required to stay in one area for a specified amount of time. Therefore they provide visual boundaries so students stay in the Book Area or the Puzzle area independently. Room dividers allow students to stay in the areas when working with teacher so time is spent on pre-academic skills. Thus, teachers are allow to work with student on an academic task versus wasting time keeping a student in area.
