New Sound System for Better Listening
Funded Aug 15, 2024Thank you so much for helping the music room at Rutherford have better listening experiences! Our new sound system has been a great addition to the music room, replacing the old sound system. Our new one is enabled with Bluetooth, which has made things a bit easier when it comes to technology- no more worrying about plugging in everything before starting a lesson! The sound system also has better quality sound for the students here at Rutherford, being loud enough but not too loud to overwhelm sensitive kiddos. Thank you again for you support in making the music room at Rutherford a better place to listen and experience music!”

Funded May 7, 2024As we start a new school year, I just want to take a moment and thank you for helping me get some more instruments for my classroom! Having new instruments to start off a new school year is exciting for the students as well as myself as their teacher. We are going to get out instruments in the next few weeks, and your donation towards new instruments is going to create a positive learning environment for all my students. I am especially excited for my new 1st graders to experience instruments that are brand new! Thank you again for your generous support!”

Funded Oct 11, 2023Thank you so much for helping us get new rhythm sticks at Rutherford! We have been using them already and the kids loving having different colors to pick from when playing these instruments. We have made lots of music together and enjoyed playing along with some familiar (and unfamiliar) songs.
These rhythm sticks are not only fun to play, but they have also helped us learn some new musical terms. Rhythm sticks are mainly used to help learn different musical rhythms, but they also come in handy when learning how to play at different volumes of sound. So thank you for helping these students learn new skills in making music!
Your generosity and support means a lot to my students, as they are able to learn skills on a hands-on level thanks to these rhythm sticks. And your support also means a lot to me, making my job a little bit easier. Thank you!”

Funded Aug 26, 2023Thank you so much for you impact on my students' musical education. We have already had the chance to try out our new xylophones, and the students enjoyed playing them in class a couple weeks ago. We appreciate your donation to help us get these new xylophones. Many students were excited about being the first to try out our new instruments, which helped with the enthusiasm for music class. We have been learning about musical rhythms, and students had the chance to play some rhythms on these xylophones along with some catchy music.
As a music teacher who has been working with broken xylophones for a few years, I am so thankful to you for your donation. School funds are limited, and your generous support has helped all my students experience music on instruments that are not broken. Students in grades 1-5 will now be able to learn music on xylophones that are more easy to manage, and are not missing parts or keys.
Thank you again for your support of our new xylophones in the music room. Your donation is reaching farther that just a dollar amount. You are helping create lasting musical memories with these students, and I cannot thank you enough!”
