A makerspace will allow students to bring their ideas to life! A makerspace is a collaborative workspace for making, learning, exploring, and sharing that uses high-tech to no-tech tools to put learning into action. With a makerspace, students will be able to utilize various tools and materials to turn their thoughts into prototypes and models. Studies have shown that students learn best when they have the freedom to be creative, think outside of the box, and develop their ideas into reality through hands-on projects. A makerspace is a perfect way to give students this opportunity. Not only will a makerspace enhance the way in which students learn, but it will also promote lifelong building and creating.
