  • Reading and Fun for Fabulous First Graders!

    The students are thoroughly enjoying the new books and games. They are loving working together to play The Fuzzies game and it is now the most popular item in our room. Other favorites they love include the Coogram wooden blocks puzzle, Tenzi stacking building block game and the Spot it card game. They have been reading the beginning readers as well and love the new additions to our library! Pete the Cat and Puppy Mudge are among their favorites. They are constantly asking to read our new books!

    As for myself, I am excited to have a small laminator and film in my classroom for quick projects or for projects that require thicker laminating film. I am also really pumped to share some great new read alouds with the students when we start our "Sun, Moon and Stars" unit. Your donation also provided new books for social emotional learning, large bubbles for birthday gifts and desk dividers for when we are testing.
