• Supplies, Supplies We Need Them A Lot!!

  There is nothing more exciting for students and teachers alike than to get a box full of school supplies. When we got our package, we all got excited and began to make plans for the best ways to use these supplies to help us stay organized. It also made me realize that no matter how much technology is used in the classroom, tangible items still hold a big grip on a students' life.

  Thanks to your donation, students have been able to create physical binders to keep track of their progress and use the sheets protectors. I have been able to laminate essential and relevant information. The students can also print colored copies to enhance their learning and engagement. I have used the paper clips to organize papers that need to be graded. Every since your donation, we have not run out of dry-erase markers.

  Overall, these supplies have helped us re-learn organization habits as we transition to in-person learning. Once again, thank you for your support.”

• Whiteboard on Board!

  Thank you for your constant support during a challenging school year. While the pandemic forced many teachers and students to rely on technology, I wanted to give my in-person students a sense of normalcy. Since I teach math, the use of a whiteboard to demonstrate our thinking is critical. This was hard at the beginning of the school year because there was no whiteboard in the classroom, but thanks to your

  donations, my students were able to show their mathematical thinking to their peers.

  When they walked into the classroom that Monday, they were so happy because it meant that we would stop using our small whiteboard and easels to show our thinking. in many occasions, the students would ask to come up to the board and show how they solve a math problem.

  Not only did the students used this new addition to the class, but other teachers as well. This whiteboard also improved our classroom environment because it made it look a lot brighter since it reflected light to the whole room. Once again, thank you for your support.”

• Let's Head On With Our Headsets On!

  Thank you so much for your support during this challenging school year. Your donation helped elevate my students' engagement. Many of them were learning from home, and having a set of headphones made all the difference.

  The headphones help blocked background noise resulting in higher participation. It also improved the quality of their voices since the headphone included a microphone. Many of my students appreciated the headphones because the headphones gave them a sense of school even though they were learning from home. They felt like gamers while learning remotely, and that alone gave them the grit and the motivation to continue to learn remotely.

  One student took such good care of her headphones that she would place them back in the box after class. She understood the importance of this resource and how it helped her gain the skills needed to have a successful school year.
