The theme for the painting is that even if we are all different, do we all look at the same sky? Students will learn how to paint a night sky scattered with stars. I will teach my 5th graders and their families how to properly prepare the surface with acrylic paint. I will also teach them how to create a night sky using different paint colors. They will also learn how to accentuate their sky with bright stars. I will demonstrate how artists use different techniques when it comes to painting.
