My first year of teaching did not go as planned. On March 13th, I saw my sweet fourth grade kiddos for the last time. We left our little classroom for what we thought would only be a week for Spring Break but, oh boy were we wrong. In our classroom, we shared laughs, tears, and learning and although I am saddened that this year will never seem complete, I have shifted my focus and created this project in hoping that next year we can all come back to school and create more memories in our little classroom. You see, my students are selfless. They love helping others. Even though my classroom will be full of brand new students next year, my kids would have wanted this purely because they care about the success of all students at our school. We are a family! In times of great uncertainty I hope for a future of endless opportunities and successes for my students. I would love to have a class set of Amazon Fire 7 tablets to enable my students to take charge of their learning and dive deeper into concepts through research. I also believe that a class set of tablets would enable students to become more familiar with using technology while in the classroom and should there ever be another time where we must remotely learn, my students will be prepared and transition with ease.
