Listen and Learn!

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to project "Listen and Learn!" Because of your donations, we were able to successfully provide every second grade student with their own set of headphones. With this new resource, our students are able to better focus on their learning from whatever space is available to them.

The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted the quality of education we can provide for our students on a daily basis. Our school district is committed to virtual learning until it is safe to return to schools, and with that comes a great deal of uncertainty in what students have access to at home. While they do not have all of the traditional classroom supports, they now have the ability to hear everything we are saying, share ideas with their classmates, and learn from each other. They are able to better concentrate on their learning, and turn any space in their homes into a learning space.

Every home situation is different. Every family is different. Every student is different. With their own set of headphones, at least one thing is the same: every student can hear.”
