DASH Into Elementary Robotics

One of my main goals as a STEAM resource teacher will be to expose all age groups, genders, and races to computer science standards. Teaching robotics in elementary school is extremely important for developing critical thinking and collaboration skills in young students. Through the use of Dash, Code & Go Mouse, and Botley robots my students will practice block coding and other fundamentals of computer programming. The robots will be used in the STEAM Resource room for instruction in grades Pre K through 5th. We also service a special autism program at my school which would benefit greatly from user friendly, hands-on devices. These robots can be tailored to fit a variety of different age and ability levels.
