  • Play is Preschool Learning!

    The children were thrilled to receive their new dollhouse, people, and furniture. The kids were very excited to organize the furniture in the various rooms. The children were very happy to see themselves and their families represented in the multiracial dolls.

    The children are using their language skills talking and working together to create their "play" in the dollhouse.

    The kids are also developing their social and emotional skills by playing and working together to create their families in the dollhouse. The kids really enjoy the babies.”

  • The Leaping Frogs need some color!

    Having a color printer is such a huge benefit to our students, their parents, and our entire school! Having things in color print is eye catching to not just the children, but adults as well.

    The kids are making connections having the letters and signs around the classroom in color! We also use our new color printer to label items in our classroom, which makes identifying and putting things away so much easier for the kids.

    Two girls in our class immediately noticed a difference in the things we were printing for our class. One of our little guys is catching on much faster to not only the letters in his name, but writing his name as well!”

  • BZZZZZ Our Busy Bees Keep Learning!

    It was so hard for the kids to understand why we were not in the classroom anymore. Having these school supplies during a quarantine helped these children to continue to learn and still feel contented to not just their classmates, but the outside world! Most of these children would not have had the opportunity to have these items at their homes if not for your generosity.

    When giving the kids instructions on what to do at home, knowing they had the supplies they needed made the last couple months of school so much easier!

The children in my class are in a Head Start program, and while being at home instead of in our classroom, they do not have access to the materials they need to continue our school year. My kids need markers, paper, paints, and letter cards at home to continue their writing, letter recognition, fine motor skills to be ready for the next school year. The dice will help the children with their math skills, while the ball will keep kids active outside. These materials will be used to assist the parents in helping their child to complete the weekly activities I send them.

About my class
