Getting books in the hands of my at-risk students during our "stay at home" order will continue to enhance their learning when technology is not readily available. Many of them simply do not have books at home to read. Students will be able to independently read their books and work on important reading skill such as decoding and strengthening comprehension skills. As a class, we will be able to meet up online to work on character studies, along with increasing understanding of vocabulary and learning to make inferences as they read.
