Increasing social skills for those with autism are critical for their future success. These games and social skills lessons will allow me to vary the materials I teach in a fun and different way. Games and video modeling help me to connect to my students who struggle to learn in a traditional paper/pencil method. When students are learning while playing games or through video modeling, they are more likely to participate and feel part of the lesson. Individuals with autism lack social skills and social skills are one of the most important skills for sustaining employment.

About my class
