Our students had barriers to their learning for several school years with distance and hybrid learning after the pandemic. Academics are at low proficiency as a whole and attendance is another issue.
Currently family donations are limited and difficult as our community continues to struggle. Our school funds also have been cut for teacher supplies. However, our students deserve health, safety, and a quality education and materials.
Our school also has a large percent of students with chronic absenteeism. There is more success in academics when students have a welcoming, engaging, and consistent classroom. The more conscious and prepared for Social Emotional Learning and basic needs, we will have more students at school each day.
I gladly write these projects in hopes to support our school ʻOhana in any way. Mahalo nui loa for your support and piece in that success!
