I want to ensure I engage all students during instruction. One of the challenges I faced this year is the built in desk that faces the wall. Whenever I need to use the ELMO to cast things onto our TV, I sit sideways or turn back and forth. I try my best, but I still miss when students raise their hands etc. I also have a very diverse class. One thing I found engages all learning is bright and engaging visuals. Printer ink has been a large out of pocket cost for me.
