Our classroom library is a central part of my classroom. We spend a lot of time reading, and students have a lot of choice in picking what they want to read. My classroom library mostly includes books that were gifted to me from teachers in the upper grades, so many of the books in my library are not accessible to the students I teach. In order to help build their reading skills, and to foster a love of reading, this project will help give my students access to a variety of books at their individual reading levels. This project will allow them the opportunity to read books that they are interested in, and that are appropriate for them.
