Funded Oct 19, 2021Thank you all for giving my students the foundations of understanding their emotions. These books tend to speak for them, for them to understand better why they're feeling angry, sad, etc. Reading in my classroom is a joyful place where students decided when they want to cool down and read a book after our activities.
I have noticed that many of my students have begun expanding their understanding of not only what they are feeling but learning to communicate their emotions better. Whereas many students would often tell me they feel upset and not be able to explain more, I now have students telling me they are sad, embarrassed, angry, or jealous, which has made it much easier to help them through their emotions than previously.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Freyre
