  • Supplies for Kinder!

    Thank you so much for your donation. With your donation we were able to purchase folders and other supplies. We have been using the folders to hold student's writing. We also use them to put writing resources. Students in the classroom also have a math folder and an art folder that hold their cherished pieces. With the dry erase pockets we are able to use them during centers and to display student's work in the hallway. Charts are also used to create classroom resources for the class.

  • Social Justice Read Alouds

    Thank you so much for your generous donation. My students were so excited to receive the new material. With the books purchased thanks to your donations, my students and I have been able to talk about social justice issues. We have been able to have class discussions about important topics such as racism and black lives matter. We have had discussions about what students already know about racism, and we addressed some of their questions. We also used the books to think about what is happening, who is it negatively affecting, what are some positive words to bring on change and who can make changes on this topic.

  • Digital Resources are What we Need for Distance Learning

    Funded May 28, 2020

    With your support I was able to purchase multiple resources on teachers pay teachers. I was able to purchase digital resources to use during our small group. I think was able to upload them to Goole Classroom for students to use. When my students saw the resources they were extremely happy. They are constantly asking for more resources to continue practicing new sills. Our next steps is to use these resources to begin to create some of our own. These resources have been a great asset to our classroom as I have noticed an improvement in student's addition and subtraction.”
