Trying to Finish the Year With Incentives!
Funded May 3, 2022I wanted to thank you again for donating supplies and incentives to our classroom. We were able to finish off the year with materials we needed as well as motivate the students to finish strong to earn prizes. My students follow behavior plans on a daily basis and giving them incentives like the ones in this project maintain their focus and allows them to work towards something tangible that will remind them of their positive behavior for days to come. In addition, my students have also learned to share items in the classroom that are for everyone and keep everything organized. Thank you!”

Sensory Goodies
Funded Jun 2, 2021Thank you so much for your donations! The items to protect our technology in the classroom are a must have so that we can use it for years to come! The fidget toys are also essential to our learning experience since my students have disabilities. The fidget toys will help my students stay focused during independent and group work time.
So many of my students went into other teachers classrooms and requested fidget toys because they are able to focus much better! Some students even "check out" a fidget toy for the day and bring it back at the end of the day.
The students use the iPAD/pencil everyday for facilitated instruction and they love taking over the class. Thanks to the items we are able to keep our technology safe.”

Math Pros
Funded May 5, 2021The students were really excited to use the items especially the ipad for their learning. Students are able to facilitate instruction to one another and guide each other towards the correct answer with explanations.
Students are building their communications skills and their confidence in our math class! The quietest students who didn't want to share before are now eager to give it a try on the iPad in front of everyone.
Students are engaged, doing math, and using technology in the classroom to support their learning.”

Funded May 6, 2021having all the materials necessary to keep our classroom safe, clean, and germ free has been amazing to say the least! It is now October and I still have enough materials to end the school year even after sharing amongst some of the teachers I work with. Students are able to clean their desk before class begins if they want a fresh desk and I also spray and clean all the desks at the end of the day along with any shared materials such as calculators, rulers, their stations are sprayed down all to repeat the next day.
My students come into our classroom and they always mention how clean and nice it smells.
Thank you once again for your donation to our classroom!”

Funded Mar 4, 2021having a second screen during distance learning really made an impact in my teaching and for my students' learning. We were able to use both screens both in distance learning and also when we came back for hybrid during the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
Students were able to see materials for the day of as well as other resources or notes that could be beneficial to their learning. Even though distance learning is not happening now, I am still using the second screen to ease the process of inputting grades, finishing IEP's and lesson planning.
Thank you once again for your donation to our classroom!”

Funded Sep 8, 2020Thank you so much for donating to fund our project. I have made boxes for each of my students and they are ready to be used as soon as we are able to go back to in person classes.
Each student thanks to your donations will have their own set of supplies to use in our class. This not only decreases the risk of spreading germs during these times, but also gives students who do not have the resources to buy their own materials to have some in our class.
Materials that were ordered will also give students that are feeling a bit stressed/restless something to keep them busy. I'm very excited to order different items since the ones we originally wanted were not available.
Again, thank you so much for providing this opportunity for my students!”
