  • Incentives and Fuel for the Body!

    Funded May 6, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our class project. The ability to have our project funded was a tremendous blessing. When I shared the news with my students, they were so excited. Many of my students struggle academically. As a result, I work extremely hard to personalize students' lessons to close the learning gaps and losses due to students being absent. Having incentives motived my students to come to school, do homework, study and complete assignments. We also played fun educational games, and they win prizes.

It was wonderful having incentives such as, erasers, pencils, bookmarks, and snacks for my students. These items motived and encouraged them. The snacks not only are great incentives, but they are also great snacks for students who may not have had breakfast and may need a snack to take home.

All students are benefiting from having these incentives. Your generous donation makes it possible for my students to be successful. My students and I will be forever grateful for your kindness and generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Elizabeth Woodard

  • Learning Without Distractions

    Funded Oct 2, 2023

Thank you so much for funding our headphone project. The ability to have our project funded was a tremendous blessing. When I informed my students that they were all receiving headphones, they were so excited. Many of my students struggle academically. As a result, I work extremely hard to personalize their lessons to close the learning gaps and losses due to students being absent. Headphones allow students to concentrate and complete lessons.

The most exciting part about students having headphones is the ability to work on personalized lessons without distracting other students. The personalized lessons contain videos, and questions that reads to the students. Having twenty-five students in class all completing personalized lessons can be loud and distracting.

Your generous donation makes it possible for my students to concentrate and only hear their own personalized lesson. All students are benefiting from having their own headphones. My students and I will be forever grateful for your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Elizabeth Woodard

It was wonderful having incentives such as, erasers, pencils, bookmarks, and snacks for my students. These items motived and encouraged them. The inspirational books marks allowed students to color them. When they read their books and used the bookmark, they got an encouraging message.

All students are benefiting from having these incentives. Your generous donation makes it possible for my students to be successful. My students and I will be forever grateful for your kindness and generosity.”

  • Science the Superpower!

    Funded Jan 8, 2023

Thank you so much for funding our Microscope and Science Project. This was a tremendous blessing. When I shared the news with my students, they were so excited. I explained to them that we will soon be able to do hands-on science activity and learn how to use a microscope. When the boxes arrived with the microscopes and other science materials, they were ecstatic. My students absolutely love learning new things, and these supplies will help them do what they love.

Thank you for giving my students the opportunity to learn and explore with science. Learning by doing is far more effective for many students than learning by listening, writing, or viewing. I strongly believe, offering students opportunities to complete hands-on activities using microscopes shows them that science is not limited to the pages of textbooks. Rather, it is an active pursuit of knowledge and discovery.

All my students are benefiting from this experience. Your generous donations make it possible for my students to explore and discover the endless possibilities of science. My students and I will be forever grateful for your kindness and generosity,”

    With gratitude,

  • Basic School Supplies

    Funded Oct 5, 2022

Thank you so much for funding our basic supplies project. The ability to have our project funded was a tremendous blessing. When I shared the news with my students, they were so excited. Many of my students struggle academically. As a result, I work extremely hard to personalize students' lessons to close the learning gaps and losses due to students being absent. Having basic supplies like paper, pencils, crayons, color pencils, pencil sharpeners, pencils cases and etc. allow students to concentrate and complete lessons.

The most exciting part about students having supplies is the ability to work on personalized lessons without feeling left out because they do not have the needed supplies to complete their lessons. Having twenty-seven students in class all completing personalized lessons can be very costly.

All students are benefiting from having their own supplies. Your generous donation makes it possible for my students to be successful. My students and I will be forever grateful for your kindness and generosity.”

  • Personalized Learning

    Funded Dec 22, 2021

Thank you so much for funding our headphone project. The ability to have our project funded was a tremendous blessing. When I shared the news with my students, they were so excited. We are a blended school district. As a result, we work extremely hard to personalize students lessons to close the learning gaps and losses due to students being absent and the previous year of virtual learning. Headphones allow students to concentrate and complete lessons.

  • Virtually Awesome Lessons

    Funded Dec 22, 2021

Thank you so much for funding our Nearpod project. The ability to have our Nearpod project funded was a tremendous blessing. When I shared the news with my students, they were so excited. The technology helped my students in many ways. Students were able to interact with their peers through games and activities. I also noticed that students participated more when we used Nearpod.

The most exciting part about having Nearpod for my students was the ability to use it with any computer or mobile device. Students were able to be engaged, supported, and encouraged all in real-time. Students could also take breaks and/or finish lessons later without losing lesson progress or previous submissions.

All of my students gained using Nearpod. I was also able to find engaging and challenging lessons for my students. In addition, students were able to have fun with their peers and build relationships. My students and I will be forever grateful for your kindness and generosity.”

I work at a Title I school and many of my students do not have access to technology. Unfortunately, many of my students are unable to complete their distance learning assignments beacuse they do not have access to technology. These students are capable of being successful in math. However, they struggle with there multiplication facts. This project will provide students with essential supplies such as multiplication flash cards, paper, pencils, crayons that will help students learn in creative ways. It is disheartening when you know a student understands the math concepts for a particular operation but still struggles with recalling basic facts. Many of my students do not have access to computers and the internet during this time of distance learning.
