  • Bring Social Emotional Wellness & Yoga to Elementary Students

    Funded May 11, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity, kindness, and support. I have been able to go on a wonderful journey in order to increase my knowledge of social emotional learning, and have the skills to teach staff and students districtwide.

Due to your kindness, I will be able to be a certified wellness educator. I plan on leading school sites and students through mindfulness practices in order to increase peace, love, and happiness amongst our school communities.

Due to your donation, I will be working with school sites and leading professional development to increase social emotional learning amongst second language learners.”

    With gratitude,

  • Art Supplies Needed for Students

    Funded Dec 2, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous art donations. My students are primarily refugees and new to the United States. They are all English Language Leaners and are unfortunately socioeconomically disadvantaged. The art supplies you provided to them filled them with excitement, joy, and creativity.

After distributing these supplies, their faces lit up with happiness. My students were all thrilled to have access to these much needed supplies. I also gave these art materials to them to take home, which tremendously helped their families financially as well.

They have used these supplies to complete multipole subject projects at school, at home, and to create fun abstract art project to display at Open House. Again, thank you so much for your generosity and kind donation.”

  • Help Distance Learners with Math & Reading Opportunities

    Funded Dec 19, 2020

Thank you so much for the generous donation to help my students enhance their reading and math skills while distance learning. It has been challenging to teach this year, and keeping my students engaged in their learning experience through a computer has been difficult. Now that they have their own copies of a novel at home in their hands, we can read together, have book discussions, and even highlight in our books. My students are excited about reading now and we participate in a novel study and note taking through fun activities I purchased with the donated gift card. In addition, my students are learning their basic multiplication and division facts because of the donated flashcards. We also play math games now, which has increased their over engagement in math lessons. Thank you again for your kindness. My students, myself, and their families appreciate you!”

  • Art Supplies Needed while Distance Learning

    Funded Nov 23, 2020

Thank you so much for the generous donation. These supplies have greatly affected my distance learning class in a dramatically positive way. Due to these donations, my students can physically have materials at their home which increase their class engagement and academics. We have been able to read and participate in a novel study together as well as master our basic math facts. My students are of low socioeconomic status, and they are beyond thrilled to now use and own these school supplies. In addition to these supplies enhancing my students in reading and math, they also have been able to do art enrichment activities. Allowing my students exposure to fine arts allows them to retain academically, and enjoy

school. Thank you again donors! Words can't express my sincere gratitude.”

  • At Home Learning Supplies

    Funded Aug 11, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous contribution. Due to your donations, my students have been able to be engaged during their distance learning and have been able to retain academics more effectively. My students are of low socioeconomic status, and their families cannot afford to purchase supplies for their children. With your donation, I was able to make individual supply bags for each student to be picked up at our school and used at home for distance learning during this continued pandemic. These supplies have made my students and their families extremely excited and very grateful. We use our journals, markers, whiteboard pens, construction paper, drawing paper, and other supplies daily to support all of our academic curriculum needs and to engage in creative art projects. Because of your help, every Friday we can now participate in a high quality art projects that support our educational weekly theme. This is truly my students' favorite weekly lesson, and you made this possible of them. Thank you for bringing smiles to my students' faces and for allowing them the equal opportunity to grow and learn while at home.”

My students desperately need essential and basic school supplies at home in order to continue the school year at home due to COVID19. In addition, they also need these supplies next year in order to complete at home projects and educational activities. My students live in extreme poverty and have very little at home. They all receive free breakfast and lunch daily at my school, and the majority of them are second language learners. In addition to this, many of them are Iraqi refugees with hard working parents. These supplies will be greatly appreciated and allow my students to advance academically and complete assignments.
