  • Adaptive Seating for Learners on the Autism Spectrum

    Thank you so much for your love and support!

    It was with your generosity that I was able to purchase cube chairs as flexible and adaptive seating options for my pre-k and kindergarten students with Autism. This group of kiddos is truly amazing!

    My students are eager to learn, however, standard directives to sit on a the floor and remain in their own space are difficult for them given their unique needs. These seats have allowed my students to have a defined space for their bodies for activities such as morning meeting and circle times.

    During these activities, the students are required to sit and attend, a task which is very difficult to them. The cube chairs not only provide a defined space for my students to engage in these activities, but help my students to support their bodies. Supporting their bodies allows them to stay more engaged in the current activity with less distractions.

    Again, I cannot thank you enough for your support of these wonderful kiddos and their unique leaning needs.”

    Thank you so very much for your generous donations to our classroom! These adaptive materials have provided a multitude of differentiated learning opportunities for the students in my substantially separate classroom throughout the year. Your donations have also provided me with the materials and specific resources to specifically design instruction and tailor it to fit the very specific needs each individual learner. We have been able to target so many new skills and show what we know in a variety of ways thanks to our new materials.
