Thank you for your generosity. We were so excited to receive this donation. Students are active learners during our interactive writing activity.
Each student is able to engage in the writing activity simultaneously, with the use of the dry erase markers donated. We practice writing daily so the dry erase markers dry out frequently. Students are taught the routine of closing them tightly in order to maintain them for use.
The donated variety pack is great. Students are excited to choose their own colors and are easily engaged in the activity. Thank you for the gift!”
Thank you for your donation. This contribution to the early literacy development of young readers is significant. My students are enjoying the books daily. I'm grateful for the selection of titles that depict children that reflect them and their life experiences.
My class of beginning readers, interact with this selection of books daily. They are able to practice their beginning reading skills easily. It has been a great joy to experience their excitement with being able to read familiar words in the text. Students will yell out in excitement to let me know they were successful in reading a word or using a strategy learned to read.”
Thank you for your donations. The material we received was most useful in providing the visual support that best aligns with students' learning styles. Having the opportunity to continue to do that in the remote world was impactful, to say the least. The students were able to view visual representations of instructional expectations with ease.
Having access to a program like this, where so many are committed to supporting the educational needs of those with limited resources is a gift. Individuals and companies that are in alignment with providing support and opportunities for the students we serve are most appreciated. Thank you again for your donation.”
Having access to an all in one printer/scanner/fax will enhance and enrich the learning experience I plan for my students at this most difficult time. It would allow quick delivery and return of items delivered to and returned by families to support learners at home. Your donation will allow me to continue to present instructional supports to students in the most familiar school format. Most of my students learn best through visual and kinesthetic experiences. With this current and sudden new learning platform, the goal is to continue to support students in the least disruptive way possible. In our school environment, scholars are most responsive to interactive and engaging presentations of instructional examples, models and step demonstrations.
By supporting our donors choose project, these tools would allow for this normality to continue. The goal is for students to have the most familiar school experience we can expect.
