In our class we spend a lot of time talking about goal setting and the power of yet. Our students spend time taking assessments and then getting charts that show their progress. Our current way of looking at these charts are via black and white, which makes it difficult for students to see the discrepancies of one date to the next. I want to empower my students by showing them their progress in a meaningful way. One of the best ways to empower people is through visuals and that is why we need a colored printer. We will use the printer for other things in our class like printing projects and student creations, but first and foremost we really want to target their growth.
