As their teacher, I want to expose my students to the different cultures that we have in our class, school, and community. This exposure and education will help students learn about diversity and further understand how we are unique and similar to our peers. By having these resources, it will allow my students to utilize their creative sides, improve their self-esteem, and develop a strong identity by realistically expressing themselves in their own image. My goal is to allow my students to be able to see who they are in our classroom, as well as others, and know that the diversity they bring is what makes our classroom beautiful and unique.
