Students will be able to make their creative writing come to life using LEGOs. Students will write a script and storyboard based on their writing genre. Once they have created their storyboard, students will create their stories with LEGOs. Last, students will use iMovie to make their stories with LEGOs come to life. They will share their iMovie with parents and the school. I know they will be engaged and have a blast while they are working on reading, writing, and communication. In addition to the creative writing unit, I would love to use LEGOs to practice many skills; for example, fractions, multiplication, area and perimeter, and story starters.
