I Need Some Things!
Funded Sep 14, 2024Thank you so much for donating to my classroom supplies. It's so helpful to have access to these materials for my students and usually I have to purchase them myself. I so appreciate your generosity, even if you only sent over $5 that helps with the burden of supplying students with what they need.
Once again, thank you for your commitment to education and for believing in the potential of our students. Your contribution has made a real and lasting impact, and we are truly grateful for your support.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Thornton
No More Phones - We Need Chromebooks!
Funded Aug 13, 2024I cannot thank you enough for your generosity towards my students. The laptops we received have been invaluable for students who do not have a device, have a broken device, or have forgotten their device at home.
I truly cannot explain the positive impact this has had for my students. So far this year, I have been able to lend a chromebook to a student with insecure housing for multiple days so she can keep up with her work, and even that one act of help is so meaningful to me.
Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Thornton
Creative Writers Are Running Out of Paper!
Funded Jan 28, 2024Thank you so much for supporting our paper fundraiser! Our Creative Writing students have been diligently working hard to write, edit, and revise their work so it's strong enough to be published in our anthology entitled Locked In: Throw Away the Key. We truly can not do this work without paper and you've truly made a difference for our students.
As of right now, our anthology has 78 pages and the writers are still producing pieces at an incredible pace. I am so proud of the work they have done and will continue to do and can not thank you enough for being part of that!”

Help Diversify Senior English!
Funded Jan 24, 2024I want to sincerely thank you again for supporting my book purchase project for Never Let Me Go. This week we began reading and it was so wonderful to see novels in the hands of my students. When one student told me she had never read a novel at our school I was shocked but not surprised. We're always low on funds and new books seem to fall behind just about every other cost associated with their education. however, thanks to your generosity, these students will graduate this semester having read a beautiful, challenging, and thought provoking book.
Thank you again, so much, for your donation. Students are engaged, curious, and excited to continue reading over the next few weeks, and I can't wait to see the rich discussions they will have as we continue the novel.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Thornton
