Students Need Food to Learn
Help me give my students snacks and brain food to help them learn.
Wow we are so honored and thankful for all that you do for teachers and students. Funding our projects and making so many new ideas come to life is amazing and so thoughtful We definitely couldn't do a lot of the things that we do if it weren't for your help and the rest of the Donors choose community. Being able to offer so much to our students through your help is amazing. They are able to learn in so many different ways and able to grow as students and people. We are excited to begin using the items for incentives.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Alicia

Thank you all donors for making this project amazing. We cant wait to start creating and learning together. The heat press will allow my students to create shirts, blankets, and more. They will have items to help them during mother nature and snacks. We work together to calm each other and social emotional learning. We know that our self care and inner feelings are important and I teach my students that they need to be kind to themselves and others. Thank you all for everything and being able to make this possible. We cant wait to open all of our items.”
I will use these material to create a calming area for my students who have high social emotional needs, ones who needs breaks and help with self regulation. They will be able to utilize this room for moments in which they need help with regulation and need some calming time. They will have structured breaks.
This room will also be the place in which I teach many social emotional groups based off of evidence based curriculum, to help teach students strategies on how to help themselves self regulate when times get too tough. The room and area will be the students safe space, where they can calm down on their own with no judgment, instead of making a bad choice and getting in trouble. This will continue to help their on going regulation and help them grow and be able to successful in and out of class. If a student is suffering emotionally they cant learn academically.
