I chose the K'nex, Keva, and the snap circuit packages because they will work well for all ages to build and discover with. My students have a few things in our maker station area, but I am looking to expand their choices. I chose to add coding items, to introduce our students to the basics of coding, while they have fun playing with robots. So much of our daily life involves computers and the use of computer science. I feel that by learning coding, my students will have more choices as they progress through their education. Also I will use the coding materials for my volunteer afterschool Girls Who Code club.
