Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. At the end of the year, I do not usually request projects, but working in a high needs school with special education students, as well as having one working copier for the entire school, I have relied heavily on my printer even more, which I also received on Donors Choose. This will be very helpful come September as well as help me financially.”
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. My students are very thankful. As special education students, the curriculum provides very little exposure to books at their reading level. The carpet will provide my students with a cozy classroom library as well as an area for my students to sit at for ELA instruction and for small groups.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Brandes

Thank you for your generous donation. As a teacher in a school in an area of low socioeconomic status and dirty water, these supplies are greatly appreciated. Your generosity has showed my students that there are people who care. I am sure they will remember this very kind gesture and pay it forward in their own lives.”

Thank you for your kindness and generosity. This printer has literally been a lifesaver in my classroom. Our school printers in my classroom don't work and the copy machine often breaks down. Between being able to print students work in high quality color with toners that last way longer than regular ink cartridges and are way more cost feasible, I am also able to make copies in my classroom when the machine is down. My bulletin boards inside and outside my classroom displays student work that was printed through my color laser printer. In addition, I am able to provide my students with helpful anchor charts and "cheat sheets" that provide them with strategies to help them gain understanding of key skills. Thanks so much!”

Thank you for your kind donation. My students and I truly appreciate it. This will also allow me to better organize my classroom library so my students will have direct access to the books that I brought in to school so my students, who are reading below grade level, can read indpendently.”
Thank you so much for your generosity. My students and I greatly appreciate your kindness and support. These books will truly make a difference and help them grow as readers. They will also be helpful since they can be used for guided reading groups, where they can work on building their fluency and comprehension.”

I want to thank you for your generosity. My students are really going to enjoy this wide variety of books. They like to read different types of fiction and nonfiction texts and this collection will appeal to their interests. I have had a handful of children ask me if they can borrow some of the books that have been read to them in class and this collection will provide them with even more reading material that they can use for guided and independent reading.”
The books that I chose will expose my students to a variety of different genres and are both fiction and nonfiction. My students enjoy reading different types of books. This selection of books contains diverse themes and subjects that will provide students the opportunity to choose which books piques their interest. They will be able to use these books in a variety of different learning settings. This group of books can be used with guided reading groups, a whole class read-aloud, shared reading, independent or buddy reading, and flexible seating. In addition, the books will help my students grow as readers and since they contain themes that are of interest to them, they will have a positive reading experience and will find reading enjoyable and something they want to keep on doing instead of seeing it as "something that has to be done."
