These books will enrich my students academic experience in kindergarten. Not only will my students be engaged in literature that is new and fun, they will develop a more enhanced academic vocabulary while having fun reading new materials. I will pair these books with a KinderLiteracy pacing guide that will provide my students with weekly units that include comprehension, story elements, academic vocabulary, essential questions, and focus standards. My goal is to provide experiences through exciting new literature for all my students. My hope is these stories will hook their attention and make them eager to learn new things in a deeper manner. I plan to make learning more fun!
