Throughout our year, we focus on many themed reading units. The books chosen are a variety of first grade fun themed reading levels that will entice first graders to find reading exciting and fun! We are learning to read so that we can spend a lifetime reading to learn. We are a diverse group of readers who are all growing yet at different paces, therefore, books of different levels and themes will help us grow and achieve success and self-esteem in reading! These books will help foster engagement, curiosity, and a love for reading in my first grade class!

About my class
