My students love when I do read alouds in the classroom. These materials will not only help student gain interest in reading but it will allow students to participate in book exchange in the classroom, take a book home, and allowed to choose two books per week to take on cart during rest time using book bin. Giving students and opportunity to gain an desire for reading in their early age will allow them to have a love for books in the future. The rug and oversize pillows will allow student to relax on something soft in the classroom library while reading.Reading to children at an early age will also build there stamina of listening and comprehend what they hear. From my experience students will act out or draw abut there favorite story. Having more choses in the library will exposed students to more books.
